I'm sitting in SFO repairing my blog.  This blog got muddled with the one I'm using to  keep notes on the Digital ID world conference and my lists got blown away.  Dang microsoft - they've been running passport for how long, and they still haven't got it right!

Anyways, I did manage to upload some pics I took in SFO.  Check them out in the Photos link above.  I wanted to capture some moments from the conference and I got some scenery as well with a disposable cam and then got 1-hour development to put them on CD.  Very cool how easy this is to do now. 

If only Picasa had MSN Spaces integratin for photo uploading that would be perfect.

The establishment is trying to tell us the Unibrow is not socially acceptable.  They are trying to force mediocrity on the masses!  They know the power the Unibrow wields and they want to take it away from us!

Beware of cleverly worded advertisements like the one attached that will try to tell you that the Unibrow should be removed.  Don't be led astray by such transparent attempts to immasculate you! 

Fight for your right to Bare Hair and All Hail the power of the Unibrow!

On Wednesday my district went out together for an interesting night of entertainment while we were down in Niagara Falls for our offiste meeting.  It was a dinner show called "Oh Canada Eh?" and it seemed to be a little more targeted at non-canadian tourists and their children, but we still made the most of it (and the food was awesome - Great fish!!!)

But the topic is Canadian music and there was a lot of it.  But most of it I hadn't ever heard before.  Even given the fact that a lot of it was old Folk or traditional music I expected I'd hear more familiar tunes.

But most tragic of all, not a single tune was by Stan Rogers!  The show tried to present cross-sections of Canadian life and history across the country and I can't think of anyone else (excepting maybe Gordon Lightfoot who had one song represented in the show) whose Canadian music truly told the stories of Canadians from across the country.

I've since sent the production crew of Oh Canada Eh an email about it and am looking forward to hear what they have to say about Stan's exclusion.

On another interesting note, a Google search of "Stan Rogers" comes up with a Stan Rogers Folk Festival (http://www.stanfest.com/) held annually in Nova Scotia!  Definitely worth planning an east-coast trip around!

The first ultrasound wasn't 100% conclusive but if there was any doubt, then we have proof today! 

Another round of ultrasounds was set up today because the doctors didn't get enough pictures the last time.  Well they sure made up for it this time.  Rachel was in there for over an hour before they brought me in for the "highlights".

But one thing they confirmed proof-positive was that it's definitely a boy!!!

So that's it.  It's probably the last time we're gonna get a look at him till he's out here in the real world.
